Osaka - Part-time Japanese-English Translation Instructor.

Osaka translation school seeks experienced enthusiastic native-speaking
English translation teacher . Candidate must be a native speaker of English and
be able to translate from Japanese to English.

CANDIDATE MUST BE A RESIDENT OF JAPAN. We do not offer sponsorship

NOTE: Students (Graduate/Doctoral etc.) will not be accepted.

Requirements: Bachelor’s/MA degree required. Must have translation experience (i.e. freelance or in a company) and at least two years teaching experience.
The teacher will need to provide all translation material from Japanese to English (10 texts).
Teacher is responsible for all material including homework assignments, in-class preparation and supplementary materials. Candidate should possess at least Second Grade of JLPT. Technical/Business background preferred. Appropriate work visa or
permanent residency status required.

Application deadline: rolling until position is filled.

Position begins: Saturdays. Renewable contract.

Wage: 14,000 yen /150 minutes + travel allowance for translation classes.
The wage includes payment for class preparation and grading translations outside of class.

ILC School English Teaching Position

ILC (International Language Centre) Osaka school located in Nagahoribashi, on
the Sakaisuji line, is accepting applications for job openings from motivated,
quality English teachers. We offer quality language training lessons ranging from general,
business, and test preparation, to professional translation courses. We take pride

General Qualifications include:
Native fluency in the language.
A bachelor’s degree or higher
Two to five years teaching experience or equivalent
Ability to use instructional/information technologies.

Requirements:
appropriate visa status to stay or work in Japan
We only offer positions on a part-time basis, so those who prefer to work one to
three days a week are welcome.
Salaries range from @3,400 to 4,500yen / lesson (1 hour) based on individual
